At Nation, most of our cotton voile styles are made from 100% organic cotton—lightweight but not sheer, with no stretch and a naturally effortless flow. It’s the kind of fabric that feels cool against the skin and easy in motion.

    Unlike silk or synthetics, cotton voile is a 100% cotton woven with a breathable, barely-there feel. Compared to cotton lawn, voile is softer and drapier. And unlike gauze, it’s smoother and more refined. It’s that just-right balance of lightweight and wearable—no sheerness, no cling.

    To care for cotton voile fabric, we recommend washing on a delicate cycle in cold water—or hand washing to be extra gentle. Skip harsh detergents and bleach, and always air dry to preserve the softness and structure. Use a steamer or low iron if needed to smooth out any wrinkles.
